Description
I intend to build a new cedar privacy fence to replace the existing, old, and damaged steel wire fence. The new fence will extend around the perimeter of the property in the rear. It will adhere to guidelines set forth by city requirements as well as manufacturers requirements for the steel lifetime posts that will be in use. These include but are not limited to 73.3" max O.C. spans. As well as specific proprietary post types for use as line posts, corner posts, or gate posts. The plans call for the construction of two new gates, one in the front and one in the rear. These will serve to better secure the property for our family as we have three small children. Fence cladding will be cedar. 2x4 horizontal rails will secure affixed cedar pickets. A lattice structure will ornament the top 1/5th of the design along most of the fence's length, with the exception of the gates and the loud areas near the neighbors' AC units. Those areas will utilize full length (6ft) solid cedar pickets, omitting the lattice portion.
